After working nearly 10 years in corporate and government spaces, I came to a crossroads: either continue pursuing a familiar path or chart a new one. Although the latter was more ambiguous, required more courage and sacrifice, and most of all, faith and trust in God, I decided to move forward with the sentiments of Ephesians 3:20 behind me. Knowing that He can do exceedingly abundantly above all I could ask or think. I just needed to say ‘yes” to having a boundless mindset on what the future could hold, limitlessly.

A woman who said “Yes” to God

Hi, I’m Kenyatta Sacha Dunkin – and from an early age living on the Southside of Chicago, I held a deep belief that stories, strategy and positive impact had the power to shape lives and change the world.
I was imaginative & strategic — the girl who turned perfume bottles into students, staged Destiny’s Child performances in the living room, and created full magazines from notebook pages and cutouts. My world was never small — I dreamed big and envisioned boldly.
I was also drawn to purpose — always asking not just what, but why. I saw stories not just as entertainment, but as tools for healing, connection, and truth-telling.
Those traits were nurtured in the environments that raised me:
A Montessori school that taught me to question freely, be kind, and create with joy
A church community where love wasn’t just spoken — it was lived, deeply and daily
A household where I witnessed people from all walks of life longing to be seen, heard, and valued through the lens of politics, law and a love for Black people
And two vibrant, rooted cultures — Jamaican and African American — where storytelling, resilience, and communal care were sacred and central
Even then, I felt called to media — to contribute to a more honest, equitable and whole world.

Now, as a connector, builder, and lover of people – the journey continues. I’m a former Wharton MBA and content strategist who has been blessed with nearly a decade of experience at the intersection of media, culture, business and impact.

I’ve led strategy, equity, partnerships, communications, and finance across industry leaders like Netflix, Forbes, and Tribune Media, and today I run my own consulting firm dedicated to helping purpose-driven media companies and ventures connect more deeply with audiences and maximize their value.
